Post Fitter Plain
PFPTapered collar that slips over a round post and sets with screws — the standard choice for new posts and simple exteriors.

Mounting Guide
The structure decides the mount. A post fitter slips over a round lamp post; a pier mount bolts flat onto masonry.
Answer that first. Everything else follows from it.

Use a post fitter — a collar that slides over the post top. Gas or wiring runs up inside the post.

Use a pier mount — a plate that bolts into masonry, with fuel or power through a cored hole in the center.

Nine fitters. Hardware cutout plus install examples — tap a thumb to load it in the main frame.
Tapered collar that slips over a round post and sets with screws — the standard choice for new posts and simple exteriors.
Same post fit as the plain fitter, with scrolled straps for formal entries and taller posts that need visual weight.
Post fitter with a ladder bar so the lantern is never used as a support point — for tall posts and gas that needs relighting.
Cast bracket that captures the post top and houses the gas valve inside — useful for retrofits on non-standard posts.
Flanged plate with a short sleeve on a finished column or pier top — when you want a post-fitter look without a freestanding post.
Bolts flat onto masonry whenever there is no post — driveway piers, gate posts, garden walls.
Same flat pier base with scrolled arms — pair it with a Grand Post Fitter elsewhere on the property.
Solid copper pier mount finished to match the lantern so the base patinas with the fixture — for natural copper and hand-patina finishes.
Folded bracket that wraps an outside 90° corner where no single wall face is wide enough — column corners, porch posts, tight returns.
These settle almost every mounting question before you order.
01
Measure the outside diameter at the post top. Fitters are sized to a specific OD — 3 in. is standard; anything else must be confirmed before ordering.
02
The flat landing must be level and wider than the mount plate. Note length and width of the pier, column cap, or wall top.
03
Gas and electric both need a centered hole through the pier or up the post for the valve stem or conduit. Confirm the core before the mason closes up.
