SHIPPING
DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES
- Free UPS Ground Shipping for orders of $500 or more.
- A flat rate shipping charge of $25 is applied for orders under $500.
AVAILABILITY
- We update our site often to reflect the most accurate stock and estimated shipping timeframes. Changes to an estimated shipping time frame attributed to a delay in production may occur and are subject to change.
- If you're unsure of estimated delivery date, please contact us for approximate lead time.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
- We will notify you of any changes to the item(s) in your order and ship any available items. Orders are processed and submitted to production within 1 to 2 hours of receipt during normal business hours.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
- If you wish to cancel your order, contact customer service by phone/sms (1-866-905-4448) or e-mail customerservice@frenchmarketlanterns.com.
- If an order is cancelled after shipment, or if delivery is refused at destination, Customer will be responsible for the entire purchase price of products and shipping charges. Note that the Customer will be charged for additional shipping charges to re-ship order if refused.
DAMAGES & DEFECTS
- French Market Lanterns guarantees all products against manufacturer defects for 1 year from the date of delivery.
- Please check all packages upon receipt for defect and/or shipping damage (even if you do not plan on installing it immediately). French Market Lanterns cannot be held responsible for damage received during shipment if a claim is not made within 48 hours of receipt.
- In the event that you receive the wrong product, a defective product, or a product that has been damaged during shipment, please contact us by phone 866-905-4448 or e-mail customerservice@frenchmarketlanterns.com to request a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA) and arrange for return shipment.
- In instances where electric lighting fixtures (excluding Electronic Igniters) are found to be defective, we promptly arrange for a replacement to be sent to the customer. If the customer incurs a return fee from an electrician for reinstalling the lantern due to the defect, we will cover that cost up to a maximum of $150 per incident upon presentation of the bill.
- Please retain all packaging material for return shipment or freight carrier inspection.
- SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE FILED WITHIN FORTY-EIGHT (48) HOURS OF RECIEPT OF SHIPMENT. ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS ARE THE RESPONSIBLITY OF THE SHIPPER. NO CLAIMS CAN BE HONORED AFTER THE 48 HOUR CLAIM PERIOD.
RETURNS
- If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with your lamp or lighting product(s), and it is not damaged or defective, please contact us by phone/sms at 1-866-905-4448 or e-mail customerservice@frenchmarketlanterns.com within 30 days of delivery to request a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA) and a return shipping address.
- All items must be returned in their original packaging and in 100% sellable condition for credit to be issued.
- Your order will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refundable, and the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. While we do not recommend a specific carrier for returns, we do recommend that you use a carrier that will provide you with a tracking number as French Market Lanterns will not be responsible for any returned items that have been lost in shipment.
- We do not accept returns on any Special-Order items OR products that have been installed.
- Special Order items include, but are not limited to:
- Products with additional cost finishes (Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Nickel, etc.)
- Modified brackets or mounts
- Extra cost glass.
- Customization
- Orders with quantities of 6 or more items
EXCHANGES
If you have received an item that is the wrong size or color for your needs, we are happy to accommodate an exchange for a different item that better suits your requirements. Please note that while we typically charge a restocking fee for returns, this fee is waived for exchanges. However, free exchanges are only permitted for products from the same manufacturer as the original item purchased.
INTERNATIONAL AND CANADIAN ORDERS
- All of our items ship from within the United States. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. We cannot ship to Canada or International destinations at this time.
- If you are based on Canada and wish to ship to a US delivery address, please confirm with our Customer Service Team.
